Migration from Meeting Maker to Exchange for calendaring
As a part of the project to migrate BGSU to the Exchange system, the current calendaring software, Meeting Maker will be migrating
to Exchange. This migration will occu between May 15 and May 19, 2008. Once completed, Exchange calendaring will be the
supported calendaring solution for BGSU. Details about the migration, documentation, and training are available.
Outages Scheduled
- On Saturday, May 17 from 10 p.m. until Sunday, May 18 at 2 a.m. the mainframe will be unavailable in order to complete an
upgrade. As a result, multiple applications may be unavailable, including but not limited to: ePortfolio, DVSS, English
and Math Placement Tests.
- The production CSS Oracle/PeopleSoft application will be unavailable from 11 p.m. on Saturday, May 17 through 6 a.m. on Sunday,
May 18 in order to perform system maintenance. Access to CSS self-service applications such as "View My Paycheck", "My Compensation
History", and "Manager Information" as well as CSS applications used in the "back office" will be unavailable during the time
of this outage.

MyBGSU Outage Scheduled
An outage of MyBGSU has been scheduled on Monday, May 19 from 2:00 - 6:00 a.m. in order to complete system maintenance. During
this outage time access to the MyBGSU portal and MyServices will be unavailable. Any questions regarding this scheduled outage
may be directed to the Technology Support Center (TSC) at 2-0999, tsc@bgsu.edu
Exchange Project
During the first half of 2008 BGSU will be migrating to Exchange for email and calendaring. Project updates will continue
to be provided at the Exchange project web page. Questions about the project may be submitted via the Rumor Mill form on the project web page.

The BGSU ITS Information Security Office updates information regarding IT Security, including alerts and advisories regarding
viruses, worms, trojans, SPAM and SPIM.
