Environment & Sustainability

Academic Programs

The Department of The Environment and Sustainability offers three majors, Environmental Health, Environmental Policy and Analysis, and Environmental Science.

Environmental Health
is for the student looking for a natural science based course of study linking environment conditions to the human condition and practical interventions.

Environmental Policy and Analysis targets students focused on the social sciences, looking to make a contribution through policy and other community interventions.

Environmental Science also focuses on natural science and its relationship to the social sciences, with a particular focus on the environmental quality of the natural world.

All three majors contain both natural science and social sciences – with graduates understanding key technical concepts and how to use that knowledge within human systems.
