Lee Odell As the author of over 50 published articles and book chapters, Odell’s recent publications discuss ways visual and textual information interact, both in print and on-line. Theory and Practice in the Teaching of Writing, Writing in Non-Academic Settings with Dixie Goswami along with Evaluating Writing and Research on Composing, both with Charles Cooper, are included among Odell's numerous publications. Odell has served as Chair of the Conference on College Composition and Communication (CCCC) and of the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) Assembly for Research. He also serves on a number of editorial boards of scholarly journals, including the Journal of Business and Technical Communication and the Journal of Advanced Composition. Odell's articles have received the CCCC Richard Braddock Award and the NCTE Publication Award for research on technical communication. He is also the recipient of NCTE’s Braddock award for the article, "Teachers of Composition and Needed Research in Discourse Theory."
Susan Katz As author of The Dynamics of Writing Review: Opportunities for Growth and Change in the Workplace, Katz has also contributed articles to the IEEE Transactions on Technical Communication and The Journal of Business Communication. In 2003, Katz received the Conference of Southern Graduate Schools Achievement Award for New Scholars in the Humanities and the Arts. She was also awarded the College of Humanities and Social Science Outstanding Junior Faculty Award of '00-01 and the Rensselaer Founders Award of Excellence in 1994. Diana Musgrave
