Overview

The bachelor of music degree is considered a professional degree because the content of the degree is extensive and developmental. The degree includes BG Perspective courses and a significant proportion of professional courses in music. The degree is developmental because intense music study in private lessons, chamber music, and large ensembles begins immediately in the freshman year. The BG Perspective program is an important component of the degree.
