Board of Advocates
The Board of Advocates is comprised of successful alumni who advise the dean on curricula, alumni affairs, student mentorship, internships and co-ops, job placement, and faculty engagement with industry. The Board meets two times per year (Fall and Spring) and committee work occurs between meetings. Meetings include a dinner followed by a six hour meeting the next day. Members are expected to attend meetings, actively serve on committees, and provide financial support to the College by becoming a member of the Dean’s Circle (minimum contribution of $1,000 per year).
See the highly successful business leaders who have already made the commitment to serve on the Board of Advocates.
Prospective members are selected by the nominating committee of the Board, recommended by the Dean and Provost, and then appointed by the President. Members serve a three-year term. If you are interested in being considered for nomination to this board of distinguished business leaders and helping direct the future of the College of Business, please send your resume and a 500 word statement of qualifications to Dean Ray Braun at email@example.com.
