Jim concentrates his practice in commercial litigation, copyright infringement, will contests, creditor's rights and business transactions. He has experience in all aspects of commercial litigation, including appellate level. He has litigated cases in state courts, dozens of different United States District Courts around the country, various United States Bankruptcy Courts and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Jim has participated in a wide variety of community organizations over the years. He been a guest lecturer at BGSU on multiple occasions on business law topics and he also taught a semester long Legal Studies class at BGSU.
Jim is licensed to practice law in both Ohio and Michigan.
