Economics Club

Purpose:  The Economics Club is a student organization that meets every other week and discusses topics in economics.  Guest speakers from professors to business professionals come and give lectures on different areas relating to economics.  Documentaries on economic matters are presented as well.  There are usually two big trips, one in the fall semester and one in the spring semester.  In the past these trips have been overnight to economics conferences in different cities, visiting the stock exchange and the FED.  During election years the club presents debates on the economic policies of the candidates.  The dues for the club are $15 for the semester or $25 for the year and members are expected to contribute to fund raising activities to help pay for the trips.  The club is an excellent way to network with fellow students and faculty members who are interested in economics and refreshments are served at meetings periodically.

Membership:  Membership is open to all students in the College of Business Administration or majoring in business.
