Neill McKinstray is the President of the Ethanol Group at The Andersons, Inc. He began his career with The Andersons in 1976 as a grain buyer and has worked in a variety of management, merchandising, sales, and marketing positions before being named Manager of Grain Transportation & Market Development in 1997. He served as Vice President & General Manager of Ethanol between 2005 and 2012.
McKinstray graduated from the University of Illinois in 1975 with a bachelors degree in business administration that included a focus on production management and finance.
He is the Chairman for the Renewable Fuels Association, held the certification of Ag Consultant with the American Society of Ag Consultants, and was the Vice Chairman of the Ohio Department of Agriculture Grain Warehouse Advisory Commission. McKinstray has also been a member of both the Ohio Agriculture Business Association and the National Grain and Feed Association for more than 15 years.
The Ethanol Group operates four ethanol plants capable of producing nearly 350 million gallons of ethanol annually.
