Charlie Carr is the manager of business development and new technologies at The Andersons, Inc. He is responsible for finding new business opportunities for the company as well as negotiating contracts with companies and sourcing outside funding.
Prior to his current position at The Andersons, Inc. he served in a variety of positions including agricultural seed manager, operations services manager, and customer service manager.
He graduated from Bowling Green State University with a degree in Business Administration.
Carr has served as president and member of the board of directors of the Ohio Seed Improvement Association, chairman and member of the seed committee for the Ohio Agribusiness Association, member of Ohio Governor Taft’s Third Frontier Advisory Committee, and a member of Cornell University’s Northeast Sun Grant Institute of Excellence. He is a current board member of the Ohio BioProducts Innovation Center (OBIC) and the Ohio Department of Agriculture Agribusiness Roundtable.
