The College of Business offers many opportunties for alumni and friends of the University to share their experiences with our students by speaking at events.
Opportunities include the following major events:
World-class innovators come to campus each year during Entrepreneurship Week to share their insights and expertise on becoming a successful entrepreneur. This event has become the premier entrepreneurial event in the region and includes featured speakers and a keynote presentation.
Influential women present their perspectives on important leadership topics. Each year this “sold-out” event brings together business professionals from across the Midwest as well as students, faculty, and staff to learn from successful women. This event includes featured speakers and a keynote presentation.
This first week of April is packed with exciting events focused on inspiring the entrepreneurial spirit. Focused on students, entrepreneurs share their experiences of starting up businesses through a kickoff breakfast and several days of lunch and learns.
The College of Business participates in the international celebration of Global Entrepreneurship Week by featuring innovation in agribusiness and logistics, one of the largest and strongest industries in the region. This event focuses on hot topics in the industry and includes panels of experts during various sessions throughout the day.
Data analysis has become essential for businesses to use in making effective business decisions. Each year the Center for Business Analytics hosts a symposium with a keynote presentation that discusses how businesses can take advantage of statistics to remain competitive in today’s high tech world.

This special series is held twice annually and features current or former CEOs of notable companies who bring their executive corporate expertise to present current business topics to students, faculty, staff, and the business community.

This series of monthly presentations to MBA students includes top level executives from important companies. These presentations are typically held one Friday per month from 4 - 5 p.m. Previous speakers include:

Marketing Alumni Days is a two-day event bringing back graduates from the Department of Marketing who present in marketing classes
Supply Chain Management Institute Dinner Meeting occurs twice per year and is hosted through the Department of Management’s and features speakers in the supply chain management profession
