A MESSAGE FROM DEAN BRAUN

Activities in the College of Business are in full swing. The Dean’s Picnic on the Green, the College’s Student Organization Fair and the Class Dinners had record student attendance. The Dean’s Workshops are underway and students are learning to polish their professional business and networking skills as well as improve their golf game for business networking opportunities. We honored our high achieving students with the annual Honors and Awards Program and recognized the generous donors who support our students through scholarships.

Many alumni are coming back to campus for Homecoming October 1. In conjunction with the festivities, our departments are hosting alumni advisory board meetings with board members coming together for a joint board luncheon.

Other important events:
Business Analytics Symposium – October 7
Women in Leadership – October 21

Through our program, I attended four weeks of classes in Nantes and a one-week trip to Brussels, Belgium. Other than the five-week commitment, the program had three weeks of built-in free time, and then I added an additional week on my own for a total of nine weeks in Europe.
