A MESSAGE FROM DEAN BRAUN

Welcome to Academic Year 2016-2017!

Earlier this month, we graduated 62 undergraduate business students and 109 graduate students who are already Going Beyond Business As Usual. More than 86 percent of our graduates have jobs, pending interviews or are going on to graduate school. Eighty percent of those employed will earn between $45,000 and $75,000 annually.

We are also excited to report that our expected fall enrollment of 486 students is the highest in ten years and our expected retention rate of 82 percent is also the highest in ten years. Our incoming class is well prepared academically with an average ACT score near 24. The incoming freshmen are coming from 15 different states and six countries. Approximately 17 percent of our incoming students are coming from out of state which is higher than the overall University rate.

Just a reminder to mark your calendars for the annual Women in Leadership conference, the Business Analytics Symposium as well as Homecoming and Family Weekend. I hope to see you there!

Family Weekend - September 16-18
Homecoming - October 1
Business Analytics - October 7
Women in Leadership - October 21

Warm Regards,
Dean Ray Braun '80
