On-campus guests have many opportunities for creating memories outside of scheduled conference seminars or organized events.  These options include access to the recreation center and workout facilities, two indoor swimming pools, ice arena, athletic playing field and tennis courts, rock climbing wall, indoor/outdoor running tracks and basketball courts, and an 18-hole golf course.

The beautifully landscaped campus environment is also part of the friendly and welcoming community of Bowling Green. Finders Records has been providing Bowling Green with music since 1971 and has an extensive collection of vinyl records, CD's, DVDs, Import and Domestic releases for sale.

tennis courts 

Named after tennis coach, professor, and 6 year Dean of the College of Education Robert J. Keefe, the Keefe tennis courts feature 8 tennis courts located on BGSU's campus across from the BGSU Ice Arena.

Located in Carter Park, Bowling Green offers an 18-hole disc golf course as well as sand volleyball courts, a playground, and a softball complex.

BGSU's Student Recreation Center houses Cooper Pool, a 50-meter by 25-yard Olympic-sized pool. Additionally there is a smaller recreational pool and a hot tub.


Eateries

In downtown Bowling Green, Grounds for Thought is the perfect meeting place for hand-roasted coffee and quality conversation. Additionally, Grounds for Thought has a large selection of used vinyl records, comic books, and novels. 

An upscale quality restaurant options with family-friendly prices, Sam B's has been a destination for good times, fine spirits, and great food in Bowling Green for over thirty years.

The Clay Pot offers fresh, homemade, authentic European and American cuisine with no preservatives and promotes healthy meal choices.

Serving some of Bowling Green's finest wings and cheese steaks, Mister Spots is a local staple in Northwest Ohio and offers eat-in, take-out, and delivery. 

Located right off of Main Street, Call of the Canyon Cafe offers sandwich, wrap, burrito, salad, homemade soup, and dessert options.

East Street Cafe offers various burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, and seafood, with Grumpy Dave's Pub upstairs.


Excursions

With their Fifth Third Field just 24 minutes away from Bowling Green, The Toledo Mud Hens are Toledo's professional minor league Triple-A baseball team.

The Toledo Zoo offers the ability to experience everything from the Arctic Tundra to tropical rainforests and see animals and insects of all shapes and sizes, all just 27 minutes away.

Known as the roller coaster capital of the world, and often referred to as the world's best amusement park, Cedar Point offers rides, a waterpark, live entertainment, dining, and kids areas.  

Founded in 1901, the Toledo Museum of Art has over 30,000 works of art in six buildings over approximately 36 acres. The museum open to the public free of charge six days a week, closing on Mondays and major holidays.

Located 31 minutes from Bowling Green, the Westfield Franklin Park Mall features numerous shopping options, a family lounge, dining, and a play space.
