24th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Tribute
Keynote: Dr. Jack Taylor, Adjunct Assistant Professor, Department of Ethnic Studies
Wood County Public Library, 251 North Main Street, 1:30 p.m.
Musical selections by the Shades of Brown Singers. Free and open to the public. Light refreshments served. Sponsored by the City of Bowling Green Human Relations Commission and Office of the Mayor.

5th MLK Jr. Day of Service Challenge
Bowen-Thompson Student Union, Lenhart Grand Ballroom, 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Over 500 BGSU faculty, staff, and students will enter the local community to engage in over 4,000 hours of service in honor of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's legacy. This year's event will also honor former USG President Johnnie Lewis; an active student leader at BGSU who passed away in July 2012.
