Professor Matthew VanEseltine joined the Bowling Green faculty in the fall of 2011. His main interests include the study of crime and deviance, especially life-course criminology. Currently, major projects concern changes in criminal activity associated with family transitions, including marriage, cohabitation, and parenthood. Further areas of interest include social theory and the history and development of criminological theory.
