Do you need to earn a graduate degree in Spanish to obtain teaching licensure? To move up on the pay scale? To further your own personal goals? Are you simply interested in refreshing your Spanish skills? If so, Bowling Green State University may be just what you’re looking for.
Our regular Spanish MA program, which enrolls students for a year in Spain or Mexico followed by a year on campus, is well known and highly respected. But working teachers and others in the “real-world” do not have the option of full-time study during the traditional academic year. In response to this growing need, BGSU strives to offer at least one on-line Spanish course each semester, as well as offering all of its graduate level courses in the late afternoon and evening hours. Most graduate courses meet once a week from 6-9pm; thus allowing the working person a chance to take a course while still juggling job and family. It’s a great chance to take a course and simply refresh your Spanish, learn about something you’ve always been interested in and see if more classes might interest you. Although our traditional students complete the MA &/or the MAT in 2 years, we have had many part-time students complete their degrees with us as well, following the schedule that works best for them.
¡Sí se puede!
