The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Bowling Green State University seeks strong applicants for one or more part-time teaching assignments of courses in mathematics and statistics. Successful applicants will teach basic algebra, intermediate algebra, college algebra, introductory statistics, precalculus, calculus, or other courses depending on the applicant’s qualifications. Starting date is August 2017 or January 2018. Candidates must have a master’s degree in mathematics, statistics, or mathematics education. Evidence of successful teaching at the collegiate level is preferred.

Finalists will be required to submit: two current original letters of reference and official transcripts indicating the highest degree. Finalists are also required to authorize and pass a background check prior to offer of employment. Applications must be completed by August 8, 2017.
