The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Bowling Green State University (http://www.bgsu.edu/arts-and-sciences/mathematics-and-statistics.html) seeks strong applicants for one or more part-time teaching assignments of courses in mathematics and statistics. Successful applicants will teach basic algebra, intermediate algebra, college algebra, introductory statistics, precalculus, calculus, business calculus, or other courses depending on the applicant’s qualifications. Starting date is August 2014. Candidates must have a master’s degree in mathematics, statistics, or mathematics education. Evidence of successful teaching at the collegiate level is preferred.
Applicants should submit: 1) letter of application, 2) full curriculum vita, 3) name, address and phone number of three references. Finalists will be required to submit: two current original letters of reference and official transcripts indicating highest degree. Finalists are also required to authorize and pass a background check prior to offer of employment.
