Study Abroad in Russia

Summer Program

St. Petersburg & Moscow
6 Weeks
20 May - 1 July 2014

The BGSU Summer Study abroad program is located in Moscow and Saint Petersburg. The Moscow part of the program is hosted by the Center for International Education at Moscow State University. The center is internationally renowned for its language and culture programs, including distance education.

Saint Petersburg was founded by Peter the Great in 1703 as a "window to Europe.” Today the city is the cultural capital of modern Russia. It combines Russian heritage and tradition with a distinctly European outlook. In the summer the natural phenomenon of White Nights attracts thousands of tourists, musicians, and artists, who celebrate the most romantic time of the year. The St. Petersburg part of the program ishosted by the Russian Language and Culture Institute at St. Petersburg State University.
