Degree Programs
The Department of Telecommunications offers the following degree options:
* The
Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree.
* The
Bachelor of Arts in Communication
(BAC) with an emphasis in telecommunications.

Major, Bachelor
of Arts (37- 42 hours in the major)
* TCOM 103,

* Focus area: 3 courses at the 300-400 level (9). A
faculty adviser must approve the focus area.
* Earn a grade of "C" or better in all TCOM courses
* Complete a minor in another department. A student
wishing to pursue an interdisciplinary minor must have
the endorsement of the faculty adviser and approval
from the College
of Arts and Sciences.

* Complete a support field of at least 9 hours in one department
other than Telecommunications. A student wishing to pursue
an interdisciplinary support field must make an argument in
writing to the faculty adviser. The support field must be
declared in writing by the end of the student's junior year.

Minor, Telecommunications (21 hours)
Students majoring in other degree programs can minor in telecommunications.
